Research Associate - Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals

Job Description

Most of your time will be spent in:

  1. Analyzing and managing data and helping write reports for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients and
  2. Project management, working with IT to program and test questionnaires, working with vendors for research sample, coordinating and helping to manage data collection efforts, cleaning data and working with assistants to code it.

Depending on your experience, there can be study/questionnaire design work. Working with clients directly will be in proportion to your experience. You will work with a very experienced Senior Client/Project Director. You will also work with very bright, motivated people, all of whom want you to succeed. The pace is fast.

Requirements
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy

  • Solid math aptitude
  • Ability to think critically
  • Solid knowledge of Excel and other MS Office programs
  • 3 years of Survey/Market Research Experience
  • An ability to work independently
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have...

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare markets
  • Experience with statistical software, such as SPSS, excellent Excel skills
  • Knowledge and experience with basic statistics, with a desire to learn more

Business Manager


Richard Day Research, a mid-sized, profitable Market Research firm in Evanston, IL, seeks an experienced business manager.   The position requires financial skills, an ability to manage HR and benefits and tracking quality and productivity. 

The position could be full or part time.

The successful applicant must have previous business management experience that is appropriate to this company.  Experience managing a Professional Services firm is a plus.  You must have considerable Excel skills.  Access and Quickbooks skills would be a plus.

Designer/Programmer


Richard Day Research, a mid-sized, profitable Market Research firm based in Evanston, IL, seeks a programmer with a unique set of skills.

Tasks will include developing structured data reports using a variety of tools and scripting languages, assisting in web-based application development and constructing web-based surveys using online platforms.

A solid foundation in SQL, HTML, PHP, CSS and Java Script is required. You must be comfortable working with numbers. An ability to listen and work efficiently, as well as a willingness to learn new programs and techniques is necessary.

Market research experience is preferred. Knowledge and experience with industry tools like Wincross, Rosetta and Confirmit is strongly preferred but not required. Access knowledge and experience would be helpful.

Depending on your skill level and experience, this can be either a full-time position or a part-time position with opportunities to grow into full time. Among the benefits of working here are that you will be interacting with people who are intelligent, smart and want you to succeed.

Coding Research Assistant


Richard Day Research, an Evanston-based Market Research firm, is looking for a part-time Coding Research Assistant.

We are particularly interested in someone with experience coding survey data. Other skills such as transcribing, data processing, other software aptitudes are a plus.
