Data Collection

RDR offers three methods of data collection: web, phone (general and in-depth interviewing), and focus groups.  We often combine these methods (e.g. online surveys with phone follow-up interviews) to maximize response rates and insight.

We have full web capabilities and can host your survey on our secure website.  We have consistently met or exceeded clients needs for complex and innovative program design.  We can accommodate customer or panel surveys to reach difficult to access respondents such as:

  • High net worth investors
  • C-suite and corporate executives
  • Physicians and medical professionals
  • Financial providers (investment advisors, brokers, etc.)

We employ the most sophisticated software to conduct on line interviews nationally and globally.  All programming and hosting is on-site, enabling quick turnaround and last-minute changes.  It also allows for careful pretesting and "slow starts" to make sure we are getting what you need.

When conducting online pharmaceutical research, we have partnerships with high-quality vendors across the globe to collect HCP and patient data.

For phone surveys, RDR has an in-house 20-station computer-aided telephone interviewing (CATI) facility.  We employ a staff of professional interviewers trained to conduct interviews with executives, physicians, other professionals, and consumers.  We also conduct one-on-one in depth interviews with small groups or individuals by phone.  These qualitative interviews can provide the detailed insights needed to help drive decisions, as well as aid in the design of a quantitative study.  Our interviewers consistently achieve high response rates with hard-to-reach populations and key customer and prospect segments.  You are always welcome to listen in on these interviews as they are being conducted.

We also conduct one-on-one in depth interviews with small groups or individuals by phone.  These qualitative interviews can provide the detailed insights needed to help drive decisions, as well as aid in the design of a quantitative study.

In addition, RDR conducts focus groups in the traditional manner  (a physical location where respondents meet with a discussion moderator).  While these groups can vary in size (depending on the research objectives), RDR carefully screens and recruits only the types the participants who can provide the insights and perspective that you seek to understand.
